Intership did recently receive the confirmation from DNV that the company is certified in accordance with the recognized standards within quality and environment. The process has been ongoing for around a year from January 2020, when we completed a GAP analysis against ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 and our own management system.
The certification has been a goal for Intership and we see it as an important tool for the company. The ISO certification can open doors to new markets, strengthen our relationship to existing customers and potentially new ones. Not least, it could also be a contributor towards our internal processes which again can potentially result in a long-term advantage within both HSE, operations and finance, says Ingolf Sverre Eikrem, HSEQ Manager in Intership.
The certification is also a quality recognition above our customers and provides a kind of guarantee that the product and service we provide is of high quality and signals that we take the customers and the product seriously.
It is a stated mission for Intership to always deliver the highest quality of live-fish handling and transportation to our customers. This is a confirmation that Intership as an organization has taken a big step in the right direction.
